BIKE SAFETY

WALT: We have been doing cyclical safety and we have to check the v on your ear and two fingers above your eyebrows.

BRAKES:

we have to do our bike safety check you need to check if your bike brakes work and if you hold the left brake and push the bike if the front wheel stays on the ground and the left wheel goes up you did it right.

LIGHTS AND CHAIN

Check the red lights that are at the back of the bike and check if they are tight. don't change the gears if you're not paddling.

GO AHEAD

When you have done all of you bike checks you can go off and enjoy riding your bike the safety check should only take like not even a minute.

TRIP TO KARIOTAHI BEACH

WALT: we were learning sun smart.we went to the beach and hat a swim.

Tuesday the year 5 and 6 went to the kariotahi beach. the waves were rely big and scary. when we went inside we meet 3 life grads. Thir names were Alina Ben and Rick. Thay gave us a tour around my favourite bit was the lifeguard tube and then we learned a little bit of sun smart. then we learnt a song slip slop slap slid and one more but i forgot what it was. Then we had morning tea the girls got changed first. Then the boys got changed after that when we all finished we split into half and one half went to Ben.The athetr half went to Alina i was with Ben and we went in the water and we the waves and first we did was jump we had to jump over the wave then when it got hard we wend out of it then we did another one we did dive we had to dive under it and after that i stood in little water and it felt like i was moving so i did an experiment i dunged an hole so if i moved i wouldn't be there.

MY KITE THING

IALT: I am learning to watch a video and get keywords and put them in sentence's

My kite is about the Matariki. we made kites so we can fly them up to the seven sisters. my kite is based on my family and friends. and the Samoa flag that is blue and red but I but some other patterns.

Matariki is the seven sisters and they come every year and you can see them in the sky they are the seven stars in the sky.

Kites are made for Matariki because they can fly and see the seven sisters and thank them for stars.

I’m always, saying “Look at my PO Namo”’.

My kite is based on my family because of the koru’s each one is one member of my family like my necklace that my 19 yr old brother mad for me.

• Rubbish kills at least more than 100,100 thousand a year please stop the rubbish disaster of rubbish its getting

worse very fast

• Stop pollution it kills animals because turtles get their heads stuck in bottle holders and eat lots of rubbish
• Solution don't litter any more if you don't litter any more the air would be clean and the ozone layer would not get worse no more heart disease

EVAPORATION

IALT:  I Am learning to make a water cycle so then we can make a diagram of how we made it i thought that it was pretty hard.

TREES

WALT: we are learning to make an argument and for people to understand how we did it and so then the reader knows what it’s about.

We learned to use text to help us with our  writing we had to do step by step that’s what i learned.

KEEP THE TREES OF CUT THE TREES

I believe that if people start cutting all the trees, the trees will stop cleaning the air And lot of animals would die.

KEEP THE TREES

I believe that cutting down trees can kill a lot of animals and humans. We would have no food and no supplies so we all would die of hunger . The trees would not be able to clean the air and it would be dirty and there would be no oxygen for humans to breath . All the animals will die of suffocation as well as humans would be instinct. Global warming will be getting a whole lot worse.

CUT THE TREES

The trees kill birds with the tree sap because they get stuck in it and don't come out. The trees take up a lot of or space so we have to just find a way out of the situation. we need the wood for the furniture and other supply's.

WALT: We Were Learning To make a proper blog

We had to watch lots of video's and and get key
words and out of the video that takes us a long time to finish.

We looked at this piece of  paper it had lots of information about how to make a proper blog my blog was very long.

We also had to take a screen shot of our work so then we can take notes about our work i though mine was really good i liked it.

The information sheat was very helpful thanks Sally Avern for Teaching me how to make a proper blog it helped a lot.   

  

AEROPLANES

WAL: We were learning we watched video's and we made paper aeroplane's and we all so did experiment's.

Forces Are the stuff that make the world basically if  there were No force’s we would be floating around.

Motion

Is the same as movement but they mean different because motion is when something is moving .

Friction

Is the thing that makes us slow down if you kicked a ball and there was no friction it would go on for ever.

Balance

If you think that we're not moving we actually are because of the world.

Cool Fact
We learned a lot of stuff about forces like if their was no friction and you kicked a ball it would roll on for ever. Friction slows all the stuff around us down .

What Was Hard
The thin that was hard was when we had to get key words from the videos because thy were so long. It takes so long to Finnish that was the stuff that was hard.

TUESDAY
We when to the kariotahi because for a school trip. life gurdes  exp-landed what a rip is. A rip is a type of current that can pull you out to the ochen. we had lots of fun and the best part about it is we got to go in the WATER!!!. We had to run in to the water and save the baddie withe tube guide it was so fun that what we did on Tuesday.

 We did place value this week. And i thought it was really hard when i was
doing it because the answers where really hard for me. But it got easier.
As i did it,I had so much fun.
